The assessment

The decision to issue a certificate is made after the examination and review of the results, in line with Part-MED requirements. Booking or completing an examination does not guarantee that a certificate will be issued. In some cases the regulations require further tests, specialist consultations or referral to the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland (ULC).

Frequently asked questions

Does sending the form book an appointment?

No. The form is a request for us to contact you. Your appointment is booked only once we confirm it by phone.

Do you perform Class 1 examinations?

Not yet. My current certificate covers Class 2, LAPL and cabin crew. I am undergoing training intended to extend my privileges to Class 1 and Class 3. Until the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland (ULC) issues a decision, I do not perform examinations for these classes.

How early can I revalidate my certificate?

You can take the revalidation examination up to 45 days before your current certificate expires without losing any of its validity.

I have a chronic condition or take medication. Can I still apply?

Yes. A chronic condition does not necessarily rule out a certificate – each case is assessed individually. Bring your treatment records to the examination. Please do not describe your health in the form.

Where do the examinations take place?

Chełmicki Clinic medical centre, ul. 1 Maja 88a, 40-239 Katowice, Poland.
